Scrapbooking.... What is it?

Scrapbooking is a fun, creative hobby that involves placing photos and embellishments into albums that are archivally safe, therefore protecting and displaying your precious memories. One of the great things about scrapbooking is that preserving your photos this way also gives you a place to write about the events of your life. There is room to say who the people are, why the photo was taken, and story that only you can tell.

In short, a scrapbook is a mini history book for you and your family to enjoy for many generations. They can range from simple to an ornate and complex form. You can make chronological ablums, special event albums, small and large. You choose, the options are really endless. As you find your style you will realise how individual scrapbooks are and what a wonderful way to express yourself they are.

At Ginger Pickles, based from Worthing, West Sussex, we do a range of workshops from a 2 hour private party/lesson (min 4 required)to evening classes, plus our favourite once a month Scrap Saturday where I teach in the morning, and we play all afternoon. Please note I will travel, but may require a higher minimum number, and need to ask for a small contribution towards travel expenses.

We aim to help you gain an understanding of getting started, (and also maybe becoming addicted!) with each class or course lesson ensuring you leave with finished pages or products. For more details see our class descriptions and timetables. We can also tailor make any classes for individual groups.

I am passionate about my profession and the fantastic results that I see being produced from my clients in their experiences through our classes.We believe that our sessions are about a ME-FIX from busy lives, and with this in mind, I ensure that everyone goes away with finished projects!
